Numbers increase towards the end of the alley.\u00a0The best sectors are 4 to 11 (in the middle of the parade).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sector 1<\/strong>. Only grandstand seats reserved to Samba Schools.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sector 9<\/strong> is the only one having bleachers with\u00a0allocated and numbered seats. It offers a great visibility of the parade and is less crowded than the others. Of course tickets are more expensive. Perfect for having some peace, but not for partying and mingling with Cariocas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sectors 12 and 13<\/strong>. Allocated chairs at the end on the parade. Affordable tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Typology of Seats<\/h2>\n<p>Each sector has different types of seats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grandstand<\/strong>.\u00a0Concrete bleachers. Tip: bring a pillow and mingle with people!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Allocated chairs<\/strong>. Only in sectors 12 and 13, at the end of the parade. These are the cheapest numbered seats.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Front boxes<\/strong>. Also called <em>frisas<\/em>, front boxes are located on the parade avenue.\u00a0Each box has 6 numbered chairs and a table. A chair coast between\u00a0400 and 1.900\u00a0US$.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Luxury Suites<\/strong>. Called <em>camarotes<\/em>, these are the VIP lounges attended by the Brazilian and\u00a0international jet set. For 12, 24, 36 and 48 people, they are\u00a0ideal when it rains (they are the only covered places of Sambadrome) and when it&#8217;s too hot (they have air conditioning). A butler will also serve you a nice supper.
